Corsinel support levels

This vision is embodied in our Corsinel product range, where we continuously design and develop improved ostomy and hernia support garments to offer a full range covering all the different support needs of our users, depending on their type of stoma and possible hernia.
As the level of support required from the Corsinel products is individual and depending on the user's condition, we offer a complete selection of ostomy and hernia care products covering three support levels: Light, Medium and Maximum.
Light support
Light Support garments are designed for fixation and light support of stoma pouch only (no hernia management/prevention).
- Can be worn day and night
- Provide discretion by creating a smooth appearance and are very useful when carrying out daily activities
- Soft, breathable and flexible material for optimum comfort

Medium support
Medium Support garments are designed for additional fixation and support of the stoma pouch or for hernia management/prevention.
- Useful if the user needs discretion and additional support of his or her ostomy pouch during strenuous physical activity
- An alternative in either hernia management or hernia prevention if high support is not recommended, or if the user does not tolerate maximum support well
- Can be worn day and night
- Look like normal underwear, but with built-in extra support in the hernia/stoma area to provide discretion, without restricting stoma flow or causing leakage
- Soft, seamless, breathable and flexible material for optimum comfort

Maximum support
Maximum Support garments are designed for hernia management or prevention, when maximum support and compression are recommended or preferred.
- Generally, the first choice for hernia management or prevention, as these will provide the user with a superior level of support without restricting stoma flow or causing leakage. If the user does not tolerate maximum support well, medium support garments could be an alternative
- Can be worn all day. If preferred, the garments can be used at night as well
- Soft, seamless, breathable and flexible material for optimum comfort
