We never compromise on medical function or comfort of the products we deliver. That is why we always conduct usability studies on our branded products.
Conduction of a usability study means involvement from health care professionals as well as end-users. The different perspectives from both parties are important in order for us to be able to develop the best performing product available on the market. We have to ensure that the product performs optimally on medical function, but we also have to gain user perspectives to increase product compliance.
We believe that usability studies are essential, and a crucial part of optimum product development and improvement.
The usability studies are conducted in either hospitals, nursing homes or in other relevant medical places. Specialized health care professionals such as doctors, surgeons, nurses, physiotherapists and occupational therapists assist throughout the conduction of the study, helping both with professional insight and analyzing patient trials.
Our private label and OEM customers conduct usability studies themselves. In the study period we offer our assistance with our extensive medical knowledge, and provide any medical back up and any medical advice requested that you may find useful.
If you would like to know more about how to conduct a usability report, please contact our Medical Product Manager & Nurse for help.

Usability study conducted on a private label product:
Tytex designed a post-op bra for a company that wanted to conduct usability studies of the bra at a couple of hospitals upon determination to buy.
Tytex's medical expert supported the company and devised the questionnaires for the studies, making it simple and easy for the company to initiate the study process.
